After 25 years of a successful corporate career, I decided to quit my job and step away from the established routine and life. Ever since I stepped foot in India, I fell in love with millions of colors, beautiful patterns and beautiful designs. I founded Sassy Indya in 2022. to stimulate my creativity and start creating a fusion of Indian fabrics, colors and patterns with European styles.
To be honest...we are not big producers. We started as a small INDO-CROATIAN brand working with small tailors and factories to create limited editions of each unique design. WHY? Because I like to be different, in life and in the world of fashion. I like to wear clothes that stand out and are different from everyone else. I'm not a fan of mass production and avoid wearing what everyone else is wearing. I wear bold colors in unique designs and patterns from India.
Also, we are not professionals in modeling and photography. So, if you like perfect studio lighting and tiny models, you will surely be disappointed. But we did our best to clearly show you each product. You might find one of our 3 dogs or a portable ladder in the behind the scenes photos. Everyone and everything behind the lens is an important part of this brand.
I promise you that what you will get from us is made from handpicked fabrics, ribbons, threads etc... These products are made by Indians in India, from Indian raw materials, JUST FOR YOU. With Sassy Indya, we support small businesses like ourselves and help them grow.
